Susan Buck is a web programmer, designer, and educator. With more than fifteen years of web development experience, she has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Miami, and Duke University's Talent Identification Program. For five years, Buck worked in the startup trenches with the San Francisco-based company Photojojo, where she independently built and maintained software for a highly trafficked e-commerce platform.
Most recently, Buck cofounded Web Start Women, an educational initiative aimed at helping more women excel in programming and web development. Her latest project for WSW is Codagogy, a computer-assisted online learning community.
Buck studied digital media at NYU's Interactive Telecommunication Program and UNC-Asheville's Multimedia Arts and Sciences program.
