Thomas P. Gloria is managing director of Industrial Ecology Solutions. He has more than twenty years of professional experience in sustainability management consulting and information technology engineering design. His work encompasses product innovation, environment life cycle assessment (LCA) and management (LCM), corporate sustainability strategy, enterprise and product-level greenhouse gas emissions tracking, and energy efficiency feasibility analysis.

Gloria is a life cycle assessment-certified professional and member of the advisory board of the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment. He regularly lectures for the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, the Presidio Graduate School, Tufts University, and the Harvard Extension School.

Gloria has worked with several private- and public-sector clients conducting sustainability-related work, including Armstrong World Industries, Avery Dennison, Biogen IDEC, Cargill, Chevron, Church & Dwight (Arm & Hammer brand), Codelco, Comalco, Covidien, Eileen Fisher, ExxonMobil, Herman Miller, Industrial Economics Inc., Interface, International Copper Association, International Zinc Association, Iron Ore Company of Canada, Kimball Furniture, Kraft Foods, Levi Strauss & Co., National Institute of Standards and Technology, Nestle Waters North America, Nike, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Rio Tinto, Samsung, SC Johnson, Sears Holdings Corporation, Silgan Containers, Steelcase, Timberland, and the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Gloria holds a PhD and an MS in civil and environmental engineering from Tufts University, and a BSc in electrical and computer science engineering from the University of Connecticut.
