Capstone Projects in Museum Studies -

This course provides students with the preparation for and the opportunity to complete a capstone project related to their professional interests. Capstone projects could include an analysis of a museum studies issue in areas ranging from collections management to education and interpretation to administration, or creation of museum studies curriculum, or media product. (4 credits)

Prerequisite(s): Students must be in their final semester as candidates in the Master of Liberal Arts in museum studies program. They must have completed all the course work for the program. In addition, they should have already met with Katherine Burton Jones to discuss their project concept. Students who do not meet these requirements are dropped from the course.
