Corporate governanceóthe set of policies processes and customs by which an institution is directedóis a topic of increasing importance in strategic management. How a company is governed influences rights and relationships among organizational stakeholders and ultimately how an organization is managed. This course teaches the fundamentals of corporate governance from a variety of anglesóthe board of directors senior management investors the media proxy advisors regulators and other stakeholdersóand focuses on assessing the effectiveness and execution of governance roles and responsibilities.
