Program Details

This online program is designed to support your team as you enact the launch plan developed in the Data Wise Leadership Institute and work through the eight steps of the Data Wise Improvement Process.

A dedicated Data Wise coach will meet with your team monthly. You’ll also connect with Harvard faculty and fellow participants in three live online events that bring the Data Wise community together to share work, celebrate successes, and address common challenges.

Your team will receive:

  • Monthly support from a dedicated coach who will provide feedback and encouragement throughout the process.
  • A suggested calendar for working through cycles of inquiry and completing all program components thoughtfully and with careful reflection.
  • A combination of guided learning and facilitation practice that offers you a solid foundation for implementing the Data Wise approach.
  • Videos providing just-in-time guidance about how to lead others at each step.
  • Adaptable presentation slides and meeting agendas that you can use with your staff.
  • A template for documenting your work and sharing your improvement story.
  • Access to an online community of educators who are also engaged in collaborative inquiry.

Who Should Attend

  • School-based teams of four or more people, including a principal, two or more teachers, and one or more other educators in leadership roles. It is recommended to include an instructional coach when possible.
  • Team members must include at least two members who have successfully participated in a Data Wise: Using Collaborative Data Inquiry to Build Equitable Schools or a previous Data Wise program. Team members who are new to Data Wise will be required to complete the free Introduction to Data Wise course in advance of the program start. Note: each team member will need access to an individual computer for this program.
  • Year 2 teams or established teams that have participated in Data Wise in Action and want to deepen their practice with targeted coaching and support.
