Course description

In Navigating Ethical Challenges in Health Care, led by Jonathan Marron, MD, MPH, HEC-C, you will explore how core ethical principles—such as autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice—guide ethical practice across health care settings.

By examining real-world dilemmas involving confidentiality, informed consent, resource allocation, and emerging technologies, you will gain insight into the complexities of ethics in contemporary health care. This course also considers cultural differences, organizational responsibilities, and practical tools for ethical decision-making, providing a broad understanding of the ethical landscape shaping health care today.
