Course description
It focuses on updating participants with the latest advances in gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary pathology, including updates from the WHO blue books and the version 9 of the AJCC cancer staging system. While the course will focus on hematoxylin and eosin-stained slide, diagnostically and therapeutically relevant areas of molecular pathology, immunology, and machine learning will also be addressed. The course incorporates interactive learning formats, such as didactic lectures, slide seminars, frequent discussion periods, and interactive microscopy with renowned faculty. These formats encourage active participation, enabling learners to engage, share insights, and ask questions. The course allocates ample time for one-on-one contact with faculty, providing personalized guidance and feedback. The course will assist learners in formulating new strategies for their practice, ultimately leading to improved diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
