As such it profoundly affects our understanding of human health and provides a new sophisticated means to change the practice of medicine in the future. The aim of the course is to educate students and biomedical professionals about the new horizons of medical genomics and genetics. The course combines basic and applied aspects of the field. Main topics covered include basics of genetics and genomics cancer biology viruses and pandemics the microbiome and the human body drug design and personalized medicine.
