Preceptor in Expository Writing, Harvard University
Tad Davies is a preceptor in the expository writing program at Harvard College. He received his PhD in English from the University of California, Irvine. Before coming to Harvard, he taught an array of writing, literature, and cultural studies courses at the University of Utah, the University of California, Irvine, and Bryant University in Rhode Island. In his research and writing he is interested in the intersection of literature and politics—particularly as they meet in the 1960s in the United States. His current book project addresses the representations of political institutions as semi-anthropomorphic characters in American political novels of that era. He also co-edits ExposĂ©, an online magazine featuring some of the best writing from Harvard undergraduates.
