Course description

Tailored to a clinical audience, this course is designed to equip dental professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and effectively integrate AI-enabled technologies into their work. At its beginning, the course explores the fundamental concepts behind AI and machine learning, putting them into the medical and dental contexts. This is followed by a thorough examination of current and emerging AI applications, including in dental diagnostics, treatment planning, patient management, risk stratification, and outcomes prediction. 

The course gives special attention to ethical considerations and patient data privacy.
