Course Outline

LGBTQ Health is organized as follows:

  • LGBTQ Health: Definitions, History, and Current Models
    This course focuses on describing and giving contextual information on sex, gender, sexual orientation, identity, gender pronouns, and preferred names used in the LGBTQ community as well as disparities that impact their health.
  • LGBTQ Health: Diverse Populations
    Become aware of the broad spectrum of LGBTQ health issues and how to provide improved care to patients in the LGBTQ community.
