Biography

Julie Battilana is a preeminent scholar of power with appointments as the Joseph C. Wilson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and the Alan L. Gleitsman Professor of Social Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Her groundbreaking research into power dynamics and changemaking has shaped the way companies, social movements, and even governments approach their work. Her work is highly sought after, and she frequently consults with heads of state, businesspeople, labor organizers, and others. Professor Battilana is the co-author of Power, for All and the founder and chair of Harvard’s Social Innovation and Change Initiative.
